mazda cx 5 music not working

Radio issue on 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring. I got this car in February, and I realized that the radio has a mind of its own. It moves on its own, presses buttons when it feels like and it'll hold down on some buttons and skip songs, pause them, mess with audio settings, mute my calls, kick my calls off of the Bluetooth and many other things.

Apr 17, 2017 · mazda. Apr 17, 2017. #1. I have mazda cx5 -2016 model. My Navigation stopped suddenly stopped working. In navigation setting,I see that it is not able to see any GPS satellites. I think it lost the connection or any problem with GPS system of car. (boom03) I removed SD card and then put back in to see whether it resolved the problem or not.

Take a toothpick or the like and gently try to remove anything in the port that may be causing the port to not fully engage. Sometimes it can still charge but not allow communication, it’s amazing what can come out, and how much better the cord clicks it when clean. This but use a toothbrush.

Well this is our first defect with the 2015 CX-5 The music works, volume knob works, voice works, side buttons are illuminated and working, however the touchscreen display is black and unlit as if it was powered off. It also remains black and unlit while putting transmission in reverse also. So it appears that the display has died.

My 2022 CX-30 CE has two USB ports in the center console (armrest storage cubicle) & the USB port that previous model-year CX-30's had in the dash under the climate controls is now gone I have noticed. I only use my USB port (s) for my thumb-drive MP3 music collection & they work fine.
Hey all, I recently had to jump my Mazda CX-5, and since then the entertainment and phone options do not work. My phone is connected to the Bluetooth, and my contacts are synced, but I cannot make a call. I cannot click into the entertainment and the volume control does nothing. I have already checked that the bluetooth settings have the "Phone & Audio" option selected (not "Phone only"). My reception/connection isn't bad. Anyone else experience this? It sometimes is fixed if I turn the car off and turn it back on but not always It's super annoying since the sound system is a huge part of why I got this beautiful car.
There is mis-communication between the vehicle's audio system and your iPhone. Disconnect the connector cord from the USB port once and then reconnect it. The Device Connection Status of the connected iPhone has been set to “Never Enabled”. Set the Device Connection Status to “Always Enable” or “Enable Once”.

Just got my CX 30 2 days ago and I'm noticing that when Android Auto Is playing either Spotify & Pandora, it clips/skips no matter which one I use. Also Android Auto only works if my phone is both plugged in & Bluetooth is on, I thought that Bluetooth had nothing to do with Android Auto.

It took a while but i got them connected thru bluetooth, but there was only music playback, no playlist management or song info came through the head unit. The pandora feature did not work at all. All idevices were current models with latest firmware and apple oem usb cable. I tried another CX-5 with the same results.
